ABOUT ME
I'M VICTORIA
As a creative, I've worn many hats in my career that allow me to be the very best teacher I can be for my flute students. In my work as an elementary music educator, private flute instructor, and sectional coach, I've worked with littles all the way up to pre-college students who are eager to learn and improve.
I'm passionate about helping students from all backgrounds reach their full potential as they become artists. My goal is to provide families with a teacher they can trust to guide their child in their music education, and to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging flute lessons to every student.
BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Agosto-Gonzalez is a flutist, teacher, and artist located in Villa Hills, Kentucky. Victoria has been an elementary music educator for the last six years in the northern Kentucky area, allowing her to connect with advanced flutists as well as brand new little learners in a way that is fun, creative, and engaging. Victoria has been the private flute instructor at Dixie Heights High School for ten years, working with advanced high school private students as well as the Dixie Heights Marching Band as their visual instructor.
As a flutist, Victoria is a church musician with Saint Ann Catholic Church in Covington, Kentucky. She has performed with Cave Run Symphony Orchestra, the worship orchestra of the First Baptist Church of Russell, and performed the premier of "Frenetic Flautas," for two flutes and piano by composer Austin Hammonds in 2017.
As an artist, Victoria provides custom art commissions, including watercolor and acrylic canvas paintings, and digital designs. Her work also includes pen and ink drawings, line art, and zentangle. Combining her love for music and visual art, Victoria has become known for her work on instruments with custom painted designs. Victoria has created over twenty instrument commissions, creating both "art only" pieces as well as fully playable instruments, including alto saxophones, French horns, guitars, flutes, and an upright piano. Victoria earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Morehead State University and holds a Kentucky P-12 Instrumental and Vocal Music Teaching License. Victoria's former flute teachers include Betty Douglas, Jennifer Cooper, and Heather Small.
